Ruth Estel Mesimer Leonard March 04, 2010
Ruth Estel Mesimer Leonard, 92, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
Born April 17, 1917 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Annie Cress Mesimer and Robert Earl Mesimer.
Employed by Cannon Mills for 20 years, Mrs. Leonard was of the Lutheran faith.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Wilson Leonard and a sister Blanch Lee.
Survivors include a nephew Billy Lee and wife, Beebe of SC and special friends Naomi and Carl Drye.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM – Friday, March 5, 2010 in the James C. Lyerly Chapel, with the Rev. Gene Beaver officiating.
