William Fredrick Isbell, Jr. March 10, 2010
William “Bill” Fredrick Isbell, Jr., 92, of Spencer, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Isbell was born June 28, 1917 in Bedias, TX. He was in the Coast Guard for four years and American Merchant Marines for forty-one years.
He was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Salisbury.
Preceding him in death was a son and daughter.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Beatty Isbell, whom he married March 4, 2001; sons, Allen King (Vicky) of Oakboro, Dale King (Rosa) of Richfield; daughters, Linda Beck of High Point and Yevonne Stallings (Jimmy) of Salisbury; and sister, Martha Harris of Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10-11:00 AM – Saturday, March 13, 2010 at North Main Baptist Church, 1501 North Main Street, Salisbury.
Service: 11:00 AM – Saturday at North Main Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Dale Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
