Johnny Howard Lewis

Johnny Lewis, of Spencer, passed away at Novant Rowan Medical Center on Saturday April 6, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” Lewis and Elizabeth “Lib” Lewis. Mr. Lewis leaves behind  his companion of many years Nancy Blackwell and his three sisters, Judy, Janet, JoAnne.

Mr. Lewis was raised in Spencer, NC and lived there all his life. He graduated from North Rowan and attended Catawba College. He was a veteran who served in the US Navy. Mr. Lewis was the owner/operator of B & J Amoco in Salisbury. He attended Central United Methodist Church in Spencer and enjoyed playing golf.

Mr. Lewis will be buried at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Tuesday April 30, 2024, with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Joint Military Volunteer Honor Guard.
