Matthew Donald Ridenhour

Matthew Donald Ridenhour, 36, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in Rowan County on July 25, 1987, he was the son of Robin Dean Ridenhour and Donald Ralph Ridenhour.

Matthew was a 2006 graduate of North Rowan High School and attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He worked in the frozen foods and dairy department at Harris Teeter. He enjoyed carpentry and old Chevy trucks. Matthew loved his dog, Daisy and cat, Rosie.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tennie Beck Ridenhour and Charlie Ralph Ridenhour, Jr. and maternal grandparents, Virgie Cline Dean and James Harry Dean.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Robin and Donald Ridenhour of Salisbury; daughters, Madison Grace Ridenhour and Brooklyn Hope Ridenhour, both of Woodleaf; brother, Justin Ridenhour of Salisbury.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 4520 Old Mocksville Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Ross O’Neal and the Rev. Kris Mares officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
