Benjamin "Benny" Myers

Benjamin Hampton Myers (Benny) passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Magnolia Gardens. He had been in declining health for 1 year. He was born in 1948, attended West Rowan High School and was honorably discharged from the Army after serving in Vietnam. He was employed by Swaim Supply, Mann Bus & Truck and retired from Byrd Truck Lines.

Ben was preceded in death by his father, Val Hampton Myers. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Lee Myers, Sisters-Sylvia Grimes, Bonnie Owen, Vicki Myers and brother-Dickie Myers.

He was a member of Maranatha Bible Church.

A military graveside service will be held on October 29th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the National Cemetery on the VA Campus. Pastor Lincoln Roth, Maranatha Bible Church will give the eulogy.
