Brenda Lucas Obituary

Brenda Cress Lucas died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Liberty Commons Nursing Center.

She was born in China Grove on February 8, 1946 to Paul and Pauline Cress.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy Cress and husband Charles Lucas.

She was a graduate of South Rowan High School. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion United Church of Christ of China Grove.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy McDaniel of Salisbury, her sister-in-law Louise Cress of China Grove, two nephews, Kenny and Steve Cress of China Grove and one niece, Cynthia Jones of Mooresville.

Honoring Brenda's request, there will be no formal visitation or service.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Church of Christ of China Grove 1415 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023.
