Carroll Eugene Linton “Gene” passed away September 15, 2019, at Tucker Hospice House.

Born October 23, 1949 in Hartsville, SC. He was the son of the late Charles William and Bertha Dixon Linton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 sisters and a brother.

Mr. Linton was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed NASCAR, was an avid Cowboys fan and loved watching game shows. Mr. Linton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves cherished memories to his children, Timothy Smith (Kara), Roy Linton and Charles "Chuck" Linton (Melanie) sister Oleta Hoffman, his grandchildren, Hunter and Ali Smith, Chelsea Linton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
