Doris Barnhardt Webb

Doris Barnhardt Webb, 90, of Salisbury passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 11, 2019.

Born in Rowan County on March 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Grace Krimminger and M.C. Barnhardt, Sr.

Educated in Rowan County Schools, Doris worked as a hostess for Coca-Cola Catering Service. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Salisbury.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Samuel Webb, Sr.; brothers, M.C. Barnhardt, Jr., Lamont Barnhardt, Melvin Barnhardt; sisters, Marie Russell, Margaret Reavis and Sara Clement.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James Samuel Webb, Jr. (Phoebe) of Salisbury; daughter, Debbie Plummer (Lynn) of Salisbury; sister, Mabel Barnhardt of Salisbury; grandchildren, Lynn Plummer, II, Casey Greene, Aaron (Kayla) Plummer, Justin (Kim) Webb and Whitney (Joe) Yarbrough; great-grandchildren, Jillian, Gage, Lillie, Cooper, James and Merritt.

Visitation: 11:00-11:45 AM Monday, January 14, 2019 at the First United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 207 W. Horah St., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Service: 12:00 Noon Monday at First United Church of Christ with the Rev. Carol Hallman officiating. Entombment will follow at the Rowan Memorial Park Lakeside Mausoleum.
