Mrs. Dorothy Margaret (Hamilton) Helms, of Conowingo, Maryland, born on December 3, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Kathleen Theresa (Gallagher) Hamilton and the late William Thomas Hamilton, passed away at age 89 on May 24, 2018 in Matthews, North Carolina.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Robert Allen Helms; and sister, Clair Leftridge.

She is survived by her sons, William Curtis Helms, David Michael Helms, and John Thomas Helms.

The scattering of ashes will be private.
