Gary Wayne Blake, 72, of China Grove passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born on March 3, 1946 in Cabarrus County to the late Marie Goode Blake and the late Uless S. Blake.
Gary was educated in the Cabarrus County School System. He retired from Pillowtex as a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Blake, brother, David Blake and Ricky Blake.
He is survived by his daughter; Belinda Johnson (Bobby) of China Grove, grandchildren; MaKayla Johnson and Dylan Johnson; brothers; Tony Blake (Sue) of Concord, Ronnie Blake (Brenda) of Kannapolis, Roger Blake of Gold Hill, Bill Blake of Concord, Mike Blake of Murphy, sister, Trenna Corbett of Monroe
Visitation: 2:00-3:00 PM Monday, March26, 2018 at Haven Lutheran church Fellowship Hall. 207 W. Harrison street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
