Harold Lynn Pepper, 68, died peacefully at Presbyterian Hospital with loving family by his side.
He was the son of the late Margaret E. Myers Pepper and H.L. Pepper.
Harold worked at Vulcan Materials where he was a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Downs Pepper; brother, Robert Pepper and brother-in-law, Thomas G. Rinehart.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Retha Pittman Pepper, who he married on August 15, 1999; daughter, Teresa Coffey (David) of Concord; son, Mikey Pepper of Ohio; step-daughter, Tammy Harris of Mocksville; step-son, George L. Lyles, Jr. of Salisbury; grandchildren, Jordan, Madelyn and Abigayle; step-grandchildren, Brandi, James, Jessica, Jennifer, Jake, Kameron and Kaylee; step-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Zoe, A.J., Daniel, Samuel, Sidney, Xander and Easton; sisters, Rebecca Shaffer (Jim) of Florida, Brenda Rinehart of Florida and Gail Johnston (Todd) of Salisbury.
Due to Harold’s wishes, no services will be held.
The family will receive friends in his memory from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Samaritan Baptist Church, 723 Long Ferry Rd., Spencer, NC 28144.
