James Fredrick Snyder

James Fredrick Snyder, 70, of Kannapolis passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Lackawanna, NY on April 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Dorothy Eliza Short and Raymond Lincoln Snyder.

A veteran of the US Army, James worked as a security guard for Calloway Security. He was a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills and Jimmie Johnson. He also loved hockey (the Buffalo Sabres were his favorite team). He was everyone’s favorite partner at cornhole camp and he loved to bowl.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Esther Mae Mamon.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Linda Rae Lockwood and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and many amazing friends.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1755 St. John’s Church Rd., Concord, NC 28025.

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144 with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard.
