Kerry Leigh Bradshaw, 74, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Kerry was born on June 19, 1944, in Salisbury, NC; she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Virginia Safrit Bradshaw.
Kerry was a graduate of East Rowan High School and retired as a quality assurance technician from China Grove Textiles.
Her world revolved around her family. She spent countless hours at athletic events cheering for her children and grandchildren throughout her life. Many people knew her as MawMaw Kerry and always received a warm hug and a smile. She loved to cook and entertain for everyone. She always put others before herself.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Todd (Laurie) Wyrick, and Tim (Nancy) Wyrick, both of Salisbury, and Tracey (Ingrid) Wyrick of Albemarle; a brother, Nelson (Rosemary) Bradshaw of Spencer; six grandchildren, Natalie (Matt) Hicks, Samuel Wyrick, Seth Wyrick, Leah Wyrick, Sawyer Wyrick, and Sierra Wyrick; two great-grandchildren, Abigail Hicks and Annaleigh Wyrick; special niece, Noelle (Rhett) Ricks; special nephew, Brian Bradshaw; and a special friend, Lois Foster.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00-11:45 AM on Friday, November 30, 2018, in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church, 217 S. Church St., Salisbury, NC 28144. A service will begin at Noon, with Rev. Dr. Mark Confordi officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd., Salisbury, NC, 28144.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the “Shop with a Cop” program of the Rowan Co. Sherriff’s Office, 232 N. Main St., Salisbury, NC, 28144.
