Marion Wayne Goodman

Marion Wayne Goodman, 67, of Salisbury unexpectedly entered the gates of our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 7, 2018.

Born January 7, 1951 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Luther William and Dorothy (Dot) Shininglaw Goodman. Also preceding him in death was a stepdaughter, Lisa Cruse.

Wayne was educated in the Rowan County School System and worked for FXI of Cornelius, NC for more than 15 years. He enjoyed coon hunting, watching westerns and working seven days a week for FXI.

Family members left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Beverly, whom he married April 7, 1998; sons, Jon of Effingham, SC, Tony (Michelle) of Salisbury; daughters, Hope Crawford (Bobby) of Salisbury, Angel Allman (Mike) of the home; sisters, Pat Wiles (Jack), Dianne Goodman (Ray), both of Rockwell, Alice Selle (Chris) of Hartsville, SC. He is survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 3:00-4:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at East Side Baptist Church, 370 Trexler Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146.

Service: 4:00 PM Wednesday at East Side Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church.
