Mary Lee Goodman Campbell Graham, 84, of Salisbury passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018.
She was born in Rowan County on December 3, 1933, a daughter of the late Mary Geneva Wise and Elmer Monroe “Jack” Goodman, Sr.
Mary was a graduate of China Grove High School and worked for 25 years with the S&R Dental Lab as a Dental Lab Technician, making crowns and bridges. She served as president of both the Rowan County Rescue Squad Auxiliary and the NC Rescue Squad Auxiliary for many years. She was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church and was a member of the W.E.L.C.A., Women’s Circle and was active in all church phases.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Graham; daughter, Donna Lee Campbell; brothers, E.M. “June” Goodman, Jr. and Monroe Alexander Goodman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Lynn Cooper and companion Boyd “Chip” Cook of Boonesboro, MD and Kathy Sue Smith of Salisbury; brother, Greer Neel Goodman of Salisbury; grandchildren, Lacy Prebula (Tony) of Gaithersburg, MD and Lucas Howard (Teri) of Cavetown, MD; great-grandchild, Pia Prebula. Numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Visitation: 1:30-3:30 PM Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Salem Lutheran Church Parlor, 5080 Sherrills Ford Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147.
Service: 4:00 PM Monday at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dawn Rister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
