Michael Douglas Hudson, 64, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.
Born in Bowling Green, KY on July 28, 1953, he was the son of the late Carol Smith Hudson and Hal Douglas Hudson.
A veteran of the US Air Force, Michael retired from his job as a water treatment operator with the State of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue Spear Hudson, whom he married on December 19, 1981; son, Adam Hudson; daughter, Brandy Morton; brother, Mark Hudson; sister, Patricia Benn; grandchildren, Andria Jackson, Joseph Morton, Hayley Hudson; great-granddaughter, Aniyah Miller.
Visitation: 4:00-5:00 PM Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Haven Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 207 W. Harrison St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
Service: 5:00 PM Friday at Haven Lutheran Church with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard.
