Peggy Sue Froelich was called home to be with our Lord while surrounded by the ones she loved the most.
Born in Tazewell, VA on October 25, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Yates and Clay Spurgeon Smith.
She could never turn down a good bargain and enjoyed collecting vintage items. Anyone familiar with her knew she loved her family more than anything.
She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout the final months of her journey.
She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Froelich, III, who she married on July 1, 1986; brothers, Charles “Hoss” Smith, Carl Yates and Durman Smith; sister, Linda Brown.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Coley, Danny Coley and Cody Froelich; daughters, Debbie Ball, Meranda Baggett and Mitzi Coley; brothers, Roger Smith and Ronald Smith; sisters, Carolyn Keeter and Virginia Mae Norris; very special niece, Cassie Carter; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 175 Young Mountain Rd, Cleveland, NC 27013 with the Rev. Ron E. Young officiating.
