Roger Dale Parker, Sr.

Roger Dale Parker, Sr., 71, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.

Born in Rowan County on November 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Louise Cooper Parker and Clarence Parker.

Roger attended Salisbury City Schools and worked as a self-employed painter and carpenter. He enjoyed taking care of his vehicles and loved his grandchildren and family. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Parker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Roger Dale Parker, Jr. (Jennifer) of Mocksville; sisters, Shirley Trexler (Grant) of Salisbury, Barbara Safley (Linn) of Salisbury, Judy Fesperman (Larry) of Salisbury, Brenda Gaines (Kevin) of Spencer, Connie Deaton (Mike) of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Cody Parker of Nevada, Aubrey Parker, Kailey Parker and Eli Parker, all of Mocksville.

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
