Ronnie Lee Gettinger

Ronnie Lee Gettinger, 78, of Woodleaf, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at his residence.

Born in Flat River, Missouri on July 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Maybelle Leigh Gettinger and Adolph Gettinger.

A veteran of the US Air Force, Ronnie worked for W.A. Brown Refrigeration.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dorothy Gettinger of Woodleaf; son, Warren Gettinger (Sherry) of Westville, IL; daughters, Lee Ann Gettinger of Tucson, AZ and Paige Twer (Michael) of Weddington, NC; sister, Donna Furry (Jim) of Sierra Vista, AZ; grandchildren, Ryan Gettinger (Kayla), William Gettinger (Kaylyn), AnneLeigh Twer and Juliann “J.J.” Twer; great-grandson, Rylee Gettinger and a great-granddaughter, Maisie Gettinger on the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the residence. Inurnment will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date, with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard.
