Sandra Brown Obituary

Sandra Yvonne Brown, 66, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born on May 20, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Piccola Thompson Brown and Preston Brown.

Ms. Brown was a graduate of West Rowan High School and had last worked at Thompson Screen Prints.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Linda K. Wilson and Priscilla Lipscomb; brother, Toby B. Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Toby Mitchell Brown; sisters, Bertie Rhodes (Wilford), Ethel Brown-Knox, Ellen McGee (Allen); brother, Preston Brown (Ann); grandchildren, Toby (T.J.), Tobias and Terrance; aunt, Ellen Thompson Knox; uncle, James “Jimmy” Brown and 26 year companion Kevin Alston of the home.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
