Sandra Carolyn (Buie) Parker

Sandra Carolyn Buie Parker, 67, of Salisbury passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born on July 10, 1951 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Esther Elizabeth White and Joseph T. Buie.

Sandra was a member of Trading Ford Baptist Church. She loved gardening and the beauty of all God's creations. She enjoyed anything that allowed her to use her creativity. Her family and friends were very important to her. Everyone got hugs. Even strangers. But most of all she loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Hamilton; brother, Terry Buie; son, Erik Cagle.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kevin Parker, whom she married on August 4, 2007; son, Billy McKay of Dover, NH; daughters, Heather Miller Shell of Hernando, MS and Katrina Miller Reece of Coates, NC; brothers, Jim Buie of Lenoir, NC, Joe Buie of Morehead City, NC, and Larry Buie of Welcome, NC; sisters, Deloris McKay of Welcome, NC, Pat Robbins of Silver Valley, NC and 13 grandchildren and other family and friends who will love her and miss her always.

Visitation: 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Trading Ford Baptist Church, 3600 Long Ferry Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146.

Service 11:00 AM Saturday at Trading Ford Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Motley officiating.
