Shirley Graham Cranfield

Shirley Graham Cranfield, 83, of Salisbury passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at the Avante of Concord. 

Born in Rowan County on January 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Cora Lee Rex Graham and the late James B. Graham.

Shirley was educated in the Rowan County school system. She worked as an operator at Fiber Industries, she loved to go to Atlanta Braves baseball games, loved country music and dancing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Cranfield, seven brothers, and one sister.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Billy Joe Cranfield of Woodleaf; and daughter, Bonnie C. Drye (Larry) of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren, Brandon Cranfield, Brittney Cranfield, and Shane Drye (Amanda) great-grandchildren; Whitney Lea Drye and Ava Claire Cranfield.

Visitation: 11:00 AM -12:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Service 12:00 PM at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines with Lt. Col. Jeffrey Hill, burial will follow in the Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
