Steven Michael Roach

Steven “Steve” Michael Roach, 68 of 125 Old Wood Lane, Kernersville formerly of Spencer North Carolina left his earthly home on Friday May 4th, 2018.

Steve was born in Forsyth County on June 5th, 1949 to the late Charles and Doris Roach. He graduated from Ragsdale High in 1969 and GTCC in 1974. He thoroughly enjoyed his career as a Registered Nurse for over 35 years. The Brian Center in Salisbury, NC held a special place in his heart as it is where he spent many years helping both his patients and co-workers alike.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Susan Gassaway Roach (1994); second wife Robin Connor Roach (2010); sister, Bonnie R. Jensen (2016); grandson, Cody Worth Beck (1997).

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Charles Roach (Joan) of Greensboro; children, Nicholas Lee Roach of Midway, Beth Gilnett (Tony) of Kitty Hawk, Joann Canoy Beck-Maness (Tony) of the home; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Beck-Chang (Christopher), Claudia E. Beck, Karah A. Beck, Dorian Willow Beck, Anna Reyes (Marlon), Jonathon Sowder (Brittany Curry); great-granddaughter Mia Elizabeth Reyes; best friend, Stevie Evers and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sherrills Ford Road Baptist Church, 6455 Sherrills Ford Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147. The family will be at the home at other times.

Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sherrills Ford Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Travis Connor officiating.

Entombment: 3:00 PM Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Rowan Memorial Park Mausoleum, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
