Vernice McDaniel Beaver, 87, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the Laurels of Salisbury.
Born on June 25, 1930 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Jettie Hodgson McDaniel and Curlee F. McDaniel.
Vernice retired from Celanese Corporation in 1987. She was a graduate of Mt. Ulla High School. Vernice was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband James on April 24, 2018; brothers, R.D. Hodgson and Bobby McDaniel, and sisters, Pauline Wright and Gladys Graham.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Cynthia B. Wilson (Jimi) of Salisbury; brother, Arnold W. McDaniel (Alice) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Heather Bean (Phillip) of Cleveland, Stephanie Landsdell (Scott) of Lexington, Ryan Wilson (Daisey Overcash) of Mooresville and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2018, in the Salem Lutheran Church Parlor, 5080 Sherrills Ford Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147.
Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dawn Rister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
