William E. Carlyle

William E. Carlyle, 68, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Murdoch Center in Butner, NC.

Born on January 2, 1951, he was the son of the late Sylvia James Carlyle and John R. Carlyle, Jr. of Salisbury.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosa Chappell, Allen W. James, Sr., John R. Carlyle, Sr., and Alice Mosely Carlyle; aunts and uncles, Shirley Jacobs, Eva Mae Jarrett, Allen W. James, Jr., and James L. Carlyle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Danny Carlyle (Rachel) of China Grove, NC and Jesse Carlyle of Salisbury, NC; sisters, Beth Carlyle of Lexington, NC and Micki C. Dagenhart (Adam) of Midland, NC; aunts, Jenny Jeanes (Dr. Opey D. Jeanes) and Karen Carlyle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins that loved him dearly.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 3760 Stokes Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146.

Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 375 Lumen Christi Lane, Salisbury, NC 28147 with Father John Eckert and Dr. Opey D. Jeanes officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
