Barbara Jean (Eller) Corriher

Barbara Jean Eller Corriher passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 94.

She was born on April 30, 1931, in Rowan County to the late Adolphus Hilbert Eller and Mattie Ellen Nora Bostian Eller.

Barbara was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, a member of the Women of ELCA, and was formerly a member of Salem Lutheran Church. She was active in many church groups, including chimes, altar guild, and church council. She was part of Eastern Star for close to 70 years. She loved to travel, read, and see her friends and family. Most of all she enjoyed her visits with her grand dogs.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Harvey Corriher, Harry Eller, Edna Eller McCandless, Ethel Eller Fink, Ray Eller, Myrtle Eller Wall, Ruth Eller Ruble, John Thomas Eller, Junius Franklin Eller, and Katherine Eller Wagner.

Left to cherish her memory is Todd Corriher; Jan Corriher Smith (Tim); grandsons Bricen Corriher and Grayson Smith; step grandchildren Cameron, Chandler, and Colby Smith; and great-grandchild Ava Smith.

The funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Thursday October 23, 2025, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 355 E Ridge Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144, conducted by Lexi Barnhill and the Rev. Darrell Norris. A celebration visitation will be held following the service for family and friends in the fellowship hall.
