Becky Jo Smith

Becky Jo Smith passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 53.

She was born on July 11, 1972, in Rowan County to the late Ruby Waller Smith and Bobby Ray Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Barry Smith and her sister Bobbie Pepper.

Left to cherish her memory is her brothers Billy Smith and Brian Honeycutt (Lynn), and sisters Betty (Charlie) Sykes, Bonnie Beaver, Beverly (Benito) Castillo, and Brenda Cuzzen.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday October 16, 2025, at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144, with Rev. Sam Mills officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 830 Choate Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146.
