Billy Eugene Lemly Jr.

Billy Eugene Lemly Jr. passed away at home on September 18, 2025, at the age of 68.

He was born on July 11, 1957, in Rowan County to the late Lois Peackock Lemly and Billy Eugene Lemly Sr.

Billy loved riding motorcycles, playing with his cats, going to the mountains, fishing, and spending time with his family, but most of all he loved spending endless hours at Lemly’s Automotive for his involvement with the company.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Daniel Lemly, Chad Lemly, and Mandy Coughenour; grandkids Lexie Lemly (Daniel), Payton Porter (Dylan), Ethan Hodgson, and Justin Hodgson; sister Clare Gay Morgan; and his brother Gene Williams (Valerie).

A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.
