Brenda Ruth (Plummer) Thomason

Brenda Ruth Thomason, 71 of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. Brenda was born to Marcell Plummer and Ruth Chapman Hand

She worked as a spinner with Fiber Industries and Alabama Theater North Myrtle Beach SC. She received a Business Administration degree at Salisbury Business College. She bowled on a league when she was younger at Woodleaf Lanes. She loved the beach, swimming, playing softball, riding dirt bikes and enjoyed making “reborn” dolls.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Hand, stepfather William Hand and Father Marcell Plummer, brother Coy Plummer, sister Regina Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter Michelle Orbison (Cory), grandchildren Hannah Holder, Caleb Orbison (Carley), Courtney Page (Zack),  great grandchildren Jax, Emerson, Perci, Braxton, and Bailey, brother Charles Plummer of GA., sisters Debbie Branch of Goldsboro, Pat Smith of GA.

Visitation will be held Saturday July 29, 2023, 1:00-2:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 205 St. Paul's Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm July 29, 2023, following visitation with Pastor Mark Ryman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations be made to St Paul’s Lutheran Church 205 St. Paul’s Church Road Salisbury NC 28146 or Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House 1229 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury NC 28144.
