Brenda "Kay" (Angell) Shoaf

Brenda “Kay” Angell Shoaf, 66, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born in Rowan County on April 11, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Julia Ruth Saulsbury and Wiley Hiawatha Angell.

Brenda was a cafeteria worker. She had a green thumb and loved to work in her garden. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she worked in the children’s ministry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Allen.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Shoaf and Jeff Shoaf (Gwynne), both of Salisbury; brother, Jim Angell of Mocksville; sisters, Nancy Smith and Christine Thompson, both of Mocksville; grandson, Barrett Levi Shoaf.

Graveside Service: 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144 with Pastor Darryl Worley officiating.
