Carolyn Snead Henderson, 89, of Cleveland passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Rowan County on August 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Aileen Swicegood Snead and William J. Snead.
Carolyn was a graduate of Boyden High School and worked at American & Efird. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and enjoyed hanging out by the pool, Carolina basketball, and the Green Bay Packers. Carolyn was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Henderson, who passed away on February 1, 2000; daughter, Laura Lutz and son-in-law Steve Lutz; brother, Lloyd Snead and his wife Jane Snead.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marsha Henderson (Randy Brooks) of Cleveland, NC; sister, Brenda Goins of Salisbury; grandchildren, Brooke Barrier (Jennifer) of Salisbury; Matthew McKee of Troutman, Lyndsey House (James) of Cleveland, and Lucas McKee (April) of Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Kiera Barrier, Daisy Barrier, Kinley McKee, Elsie McKee and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation: 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
Service: 11:00 AM Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines.
