Cathy Richard

Cathy Richard of Salisbury, left her earthly body to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, August 20, 2023. She died at Charlotte Presbyterian Hospital after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of nine years, Thomas, daughters Melissa (Chris) of Summerfield and Laurie of High Point, and grandson, Nicholas.

Born in Rockingham County on March 14, 1953, Cathy spent years as administrative assistant for various firms around Greensboro. She loved playing with her cats, watching birds at the feeders, and growing flowers. She will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Haven Lutheran Church, 207 W. Harrison St, Salisbury, NC 28144. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at City Memorial Park, 1310 W. Innes St, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
