Cecilia Ann (Schenk) Lingle

Cecilia Ann Schenk Lingle, 70, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Rowan County on March 21, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Martha Jane Goodman Schenk and Grover Cecil Schenk.

Ann was a 1969 graduate of West Rowan High School and retired from the Rowan-Salisbury School System and Central State Beauty School. She was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Theodore Lingle.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Cecil Lingle, whom she married on September 19, 1969; brother, Dale Schenk (Barbara) of Salisbury; sister, Brenda Bernhardt (J.C.) of Washington, NC; sisters-in-law, Peggy Schenk and Kathleen Kepley; brothers-in-law, Terry Lingle and John Lingle and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 2:30-4:00 PM Thursday, April 1, 2021 in the Salem Lutheran Church Parlor, 5080 Sherrills Ford Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147.

Service: 4:00 PM at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Dawn Rister officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family requests that masks be worn at the visitation and service.
