Charles Wilson Basinger

Charles Wilson Basinger, Sr., 86, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Universal Healthcare and Rehab in Concord. 

Born in Rowan County on May 8, 1938, he was the son of the late Suzanne Jane Cline Basinger and Mitchell Basinger. 

Mr. Basinger was a veteran of the US Army and worked at East Coast Tractor and Trailer. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Basinger, and his wife, Edna D. Basinger who passed in 2014.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sarah Basinger, Janie Basinger, and Julie Basinger; sons, Charles Basinger, Jr. and Marty Basinger; grandchildren, Brittany, Tristan, and Keira Basinger; great-grandchildren, Noah Basinger and Amir Hyatt.
