Obituary
Charles Benton Rogers, 100, passed away on April 21, 2023 at his home in Rockwell. Born in Milltown Indiana he was the son of Vivian and Cort Rogers. Charles flew the C-47 in WWII over the China Burma hump. He came back from the war and became a brick mason until his retirement. He was a devoted Christian and is safely with his Lord. He is preceded in death by both parents, brothers Gerome and Howard Rogers. He was married to Elizabeth Johnson Rogers and had four children with whom he is survived by daughters Sandra Nannie, Donna Alexander and Rita Eller, son Bruce Rogers, sister Golda Nelson of Florida and many grand children and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 3:00pm Tuesday April 25, 2023 at Rowan Memorial Park with Lyerly Volunteer Joint Service Honor Guard conducting military rights.
