Charles Curtis Grogan, 86, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in High Point, NC on January 14, 1934, he was the son of the late Ola Martin Grogan and J.B. Grogan.
Charles was retired from the furniture industry in High Point and was Baptist by faith. He was a past member of the Spencer Moose Lodge and loved Myrtle Beach and dancing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Odell “Odie” Eller Grogan, who passed away on September 8, 2006; brothers, James, William, and Joseph Grogan; adopted daughter, Stephanie Barkman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his best friend Ellen Stanley and adopted children, Carla Probst (Douglas) of Salisbury, William Stanley of Ohio, and Robert Stanley (Teresa) of Leland, NC and friend, Roseanne Wallace of Salisbury.
Visitation: 9:30-10:30 am Monday, September 28, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 3760 Stokes Ferry Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am Monday, September 28, 2020 at City Memorial Park, 1310 W. Innes St., Salisbury, NC 28144 with the Rev. Steve Holshouser officiating.
