Charlie Reid Obituary
Charlie Ules Reid, 74, of Rockwell went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Rowan County on June 22, 1947, he was the son of the late Mary Grace Miller Reid and Clifford William Reid.
Mr. Reid was a loving father and husband. He loved the Lord and studying the bible, and attended Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Goodwrench.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Looney Reid; sons, Jason Reid and Wesley Reid; step-son, Dalton Looney; brothers, Billy Reid, Calvin Reid, Harry Reid, and Larry Reid; grandchildren, Ashley Reid, Brittany Reid, Travis Reid, Jacob Reid, Bradley Reid, and David Reid; great-grandchild Austin Reid and one on the way.
Graveside Service: 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, 8625 US 52 Highway, Rockwell, NC 28138 with the Rev. Dr. Steve Holshouser officiating.
