Obituary
Charlotte Moore Cooper, 80, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at White Oak Nursing Home in Burlington, NC.
Born in Rowan County on February 17, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Holland and Bessie Moore.
Mrs. Cooper was a 1961 graduate of South Rowan High School. She worked as a custom seamstress at R.W. Norman’s of Salisbury for 26 years. After retirement, she opened up her home to watch children that gave her much enjoyment. She also enjoyed going to the beach at Cherry Grove.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Moore, Bubby Moore, Gene Moore, and Jack Moore; sister, Bonnie Moore Barrow.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Shawn Cooper (Crystal) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Aaron Cooper of Salisbury, Savannah Dumas of Burlington, and Summer Drew of Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Sophia Lilley, Olivia Dumas, and Quentin Dumas of Burlington.
The family will have a private ceremony at their home. Any donations may be made to the Dementia Foundation.
