ALBERT GRAHAM GARDNER

Albert Graham Gardner was born on August 5, 1953, in Concord, North Carolina to parents Amy Irene McDaniel Gardner and Clyde Graham Gardner.

During his life, he lived in North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, and Tampa, Florida before moving back to North Carolina where he passed away after a long illness.

After graduating from his senior year at Mt. Pleasant,  NC he joined the Marine Corp and fought in Viet Nam. He was a Corporal and was discharged having received numerous medals on February 17, 1978.

Once leaving the Marines he had many different jobs as a “free spirit”, making friends wherever he went.

Albert loved and is survived by his sisters Sharon and Gayle and brother Tim, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

On January 10, 2020, he joined his Mom and Dad and many others who passed before him.

Graveside Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC  28144,  with Military Honors conducted by the Lyerly Joint Services Honor Guard.
