David Harold Smith

David Harold Smith passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 79.

He was born on August 26, 1945, in Tennessee to David and Romaine Smith.

David retired from the Army National Guard. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He held many different positions, including past commander of the VFW 3006, AMVETS Post 565, the American Legion, and the Spencer Alderman.

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Keith Smith.

Left to cherish his memory are Doris Ann Antal (spouse Paul), his brother Rogar Mark Smith, his grandson Paul Antal and his wife Hannah from Ackon, Ohio.

A service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday September 24, 2024, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.  Military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard.
