David St. John Obituary

David Glenn St. John, 71, of Salisbury passed away on Friday October 27, 2023, at his residence.

 

Born in Washington DC on March 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Nancy Odetta Eckley St. John and the late Earl Edward St. John.

 

David was a US veteran and served in the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 106. He enjoyed going to the mountains and riding motorcycles. He loved truck driving, the big 18 wheelers. He also loved his dog, Ben.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Alexis Duffy, and great grandson Tony Gillentine.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years Suzanne Smith St. John, sons Earl Duffy, Loren Mayr (Tina), Christopher Robbins (Amanda), daughters Crystal Hoover (Donald), Krystal Reamy (Dale), brother Anthony St. John, sisters Cherie St. John (Kevin Traynor), Lorraine Weil (Gary), grandchildren 19, great grandchildren 5.

Visitation will be held Wednesday November 1, 2023, 11:30 -12:30 at Post 106 American Legion 6250 NC 801 Salisbury, NC 28147. Service and Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery at 1:00pm, with Lyerly Volunteer Joint Services Honor Guard conducting military rites.
