Obituary

Debbie Jean Watson, 64, of Kannapolis passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Medical Center.

Born in Cabarrus County on March 14, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Judy Loree Hudson and Bobby Gene Watson.

Ms. Watson graduated from A.L. Brown High School and worked at China Grove Cotton Mill. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carie Hunter Wilhite (Travis) of China Grove; brothers, Jeff Watson (Tracey) of Kannapolis and Kaleb Watson of Salisbury; grandchildren, Brittany Jackson (Davey) and Breleigh Beaver; step mother, Virginia Watson of Salisbury; her brother Jeff’s children, Kass Watson and Kristianna Watson Rodriguez; aunt, Joanne Savage.

Service: 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the West Lawn Memorial Park Singing Tower, 1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023 with the Rev. Gene Beaver officiating.
