Deborah "Debbie" (Martin) Griffin

Deborah “Debbie” Martin Griffin, 65, of Kannapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her residence.

Born in Cabarrus County on June 20, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Betty Henry and Willard Martin.

Mrs. Griffin was a 1975 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School and worked at K-Town Furniture for many years. Mrs. Griffin was married to her loving husband, Terry Griffin, for 40 years before his passing. She was a loving Nana to six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She loved cooking, sharing pictures of her family and spending time with her dog Toby Joe. Her favorite places were the mountains and the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Wayne Griffin and brother, Bobby Willard Martin.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Shane McCorkle (Kelly) of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Heather Arrowood (Ronnie) of Harrisburg, NC; sister, Betty Ann Ewing (Leonard) of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren, Tyler Cannon, Brittany Cannon, Alysa McCorkle, Ashton Arrowood, Nolan Arrowood, Noah McCorkle; great-grandson, Samuel Bailey.

Service: 10:00 AM Monday, March 20, 2023 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
