Deloris "Dee" (Cottingham) Cruse

Deloris “Dee” Cottingham Cruse, 77, of Charlotte passed away Monday May 9, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Helen Dyson Cottingham and Evander Monroe Cottingham in Rowan County. She worked for PPG for over 30 years then retired. Dee was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church Salisbury and before that a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Rimertown.

Dee was a firecracker. She played softball, loved listening to music and dancing. She was a kind and loving woman and loved her family and God. She was a great mom.

She was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Bobby Cottingham, Jerry Cottingham, Steve Cottingham and Larry Cottingham.

Those left to cherish her are her daughters Kimberly Cruse Cherry (Chris) of Charlotte, Tara Cruse Blalock (Larry) of Charlotte, Brother Mickey Cottingham (Janet) of Salisbury, her beloved grandson Tristian Walker.

Visitation will be held 11:00 am Saturday May 14, 2022 at Trinity Wesleyan Church 2200 Mooresville Rd. Salisbury NC 28147

Funeral Service 12:00 pm Saturday May 14, 2022, with Pastor Randy Addison to officiate the services.

Burial to follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
