Donald Ray Little

Donald Ray “Don” Little, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday.

Born in Forsyth County on December 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Irene Kennedy Little and Rev. Fred G. Little.

Mr. Little was a veteran of the US Army National Guard Reserves. He retired from the NC Finishing Company after over 20 years as a department manager. He loved and supported Lifepoint Church by his faithful attendance. He had a love for music, NASCAR, Tarheel Basketball, and other sports. He was always a hardworking man and provider for his family. Mr. Little was active at the YMCA, playing basketball and being around friends there. He loved his cat “Smoke”. He enjoyed feeding the birds, watching the squirrels, and just enjoying the sun and outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Koontz.

Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, Glenda Everhart Lemly; son, Chip Little (Allison Rogala) of Holly Springs, NC; daughters, Debbie Ferguson of Lexington and Teresa Perryman (Brad Padgett) of Evans, GA; sisters, Kaye Walser of Lexington and Sherri Keller of North Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Clint Frye, Leslie Frye, Kenan Little, and Maisa Little; great-grandchildren, Noah Frye and Davis Frye.

Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Lifepoint Church, 424 East 9th Street Ext, Lexington, NC 27292.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Lifepoint Church with Pastor Nathan Becker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
