Donald B. Roe

Donald B. Roe, 80, of Spencer passed away on Monday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Lee County, VA on December 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Cleo Jones Roe and Harold Roe.

Donald worked for Salisbury Moving and Storage for over 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith and formerly attended First Baptist Church in East Spencer. Donald loved fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Jr., Denny, Roger, and Mike Roe.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Charlotte Fagan Roe, whom he married on August 1, 1958; children, Donald Roe (Loretta) of WV, John Roe (Melinda) of Rockwell, Jeff Roe (Lisa) of Salisbury, Tiki Diamond of Washington, DC, Susan Berry of Spencer, and Janie Amerman of East Spencer; brothers, Larry Roe (Linda) of Winfield, TN, Paul Roe (Tresa) of Winfield, TN, Joe Roe (Tresa) of Chicago, IL, and Freddie Roe of Winfield, TN; sisters, Brenda Fortner, Kathy Cole (Gary), and Glenda Creech, all of Winfield, TN; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and special friend, Darril Fortson.

Visitation: 12:00-1:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Service: 1:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines. Burial will follow in the Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
