Donna Shaff

Donna Casey Shaff, age 76, of Salisbury, passed away on June 9, 2024.

Donna was born September 8, 1947, in Rowan County as the only child of the late Albert Lee Casey and Aileen Miller Casey.

Donna attended Rowan County Schools and was a 1965 graduate of East Rowan High School. After the passing of her father, Donna was the caregiver to her mother for 17 years. She made a career as a bookkeeper, having served as head bookkeeper at F & M Bank in Granite Quarry, Office Manager at Cloninger Ford, and earning certificates from Ford Motor Company in Advance Accounting and Payroll. She received a Business Management Award in Accounting Excellence. Donna also held positions as Office Manager at Dick Brooks Chrysler, Alan Yates Superstore, and Bruce Lanier Motors until retiring in 2010 due to declining health.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David Shaff and her stepdaughter Lisa Murphy (Keary).

A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 Friday June 14, 2024, at the Chapel in the Pines at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Road, Salisbury, NC 28144. The service will follow at 11:30 with Rev. Tom Teichroew officiating. The burial will be in Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
