Doris (Dottie) Sue Kluttz

Doris Sue (Dottie) Kluttz, 76 of Salisbury, NC passed away on Friday August 29, 2025, at Glenn Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC

Born December 29, 1948, in Salisbury, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Whitney and Ida Mae Surratt Kluttz.

Doris attended Union Lutheran Church in Salisbury, NC.  Doris graduated from East Rowan High School and worked for Food Lion in Salisbury NC.   She also worked for Lowes in Salisbury, NC.

Doris enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.

In addition to Doris’s parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William Glenn Kluttz.

She is survived by her sister Sarah Kluttz Holshouser; Sister In Law Margaret Kluttz, Prosperity, SC; Niece Terri Murphey (James), High Point, Nephews, David Holshouser, Jeff Holshouser (Dawn), William Keith Kluttz, Spartanburg, SC;  Bradford Kluttz (Katie), Greenville, SC; Great Nephews and Niece; Josh Tysinger (Casey), High Point;  Kristin DeWolf (Jeremy), Travis Holshouser (Meredith), Maddux Holshouser and numerous other great, great nieces and nephews.

Doris also leaves behind Willie her feline friend.

Visitation 10:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Union Lutheran Church, 4770 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.

Service 11:00 AM Thursday September 4, 2025, at Union Lutheran Church with Pastor Heidi Punt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Union Lutheran Church Cemetery.  

Memorials may be made to Union Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
