Dorothy (Knight) Troutman

Dorothy Knight Troutman, 90, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2020 at Compass Health & Rehab in Spencer NC.

Born in Rowan County on February 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Rose Morris and James Knight.

Dorothy went to Rowan County schools and work as a cloth inspector with Cannon Mill in China Grove and also Swink plant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Troutman.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, George (Kenny) Troutman & Vickie of Salisbury; grandchildren, Melissa Myers & Charlie, Christopher (Chris) Troutman and great grandchildren Emma Myers, Olin Myers, Alli Myers, Cole Myers, Kristofer Troutman.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at New Hope Independent Baptist Church 830 Choate Rd Salisbury, NC 28146 then the funeral service at 1:00pm with Rev. Dr. Darrell Worley to officiate the service. Burial to follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
