Edeltraud Hau Obituary

Edeltraud Hau, 70, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in West Germany, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lotte Kowalski.

Edeltraud was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, coffee klatch, gardening, and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hau and several siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Vicky Slusser (Mark), Nina Hockman (Bill), Michele Hafner, and Dirk Kumashiro; brothers, Gerhard Kowalski and Peter Kowalski; grandchildren, Jason Slusser (Kim), Lora Griffin (Nathan), Kyle Slusser (Paola), Joe Hockman (Amber), Shelly Stowell (Zack), Tyler Hockman, and April Hafner; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Lawrence (Joseph), Alayna Slusser, Madalinn Griffin, Tucker, Bowen, Maddox Stowell, and Mason Hockman.
